Conservation & Environmental Sustainability
Our own footprint, held to the evidence we ask of others.
Impact
Counting the full ledger.
What an economy does to the planet alongside what it does to margins. Not as an afterthought, but alongside the financial analysis.
The same standard
We apply the same evidentiary standard to our own environmental footprint that we apply when testing other companies' sustainability claims.
Impact
Where the work happens.
Kuartal Impact
Kuartal Impact is part of Kuartal Group's impact and sustainability ecosystem: community, cooperative and environmental initiatives, and the patient and blended capital work that sits alongside Kuartal Capital and Kuartal Ventures.
kuartalimpact.orgKuartal at Geoparks
Kuartal's own lineage traces back to the Geoparks Investment Advisory Council in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, home to the Rinjani–Lombok UNESCO Global Geopark. That origin still shapes how Kuartal thinks about capital tied to land and place.
Impact
Research, society and education.
-
Kuartal Institute
Knowledge to understand. Research across economics, society, geopolitics and the environment, with scientific independence at its centre.
-
Society
An economy is more than its output. We examine who benefits, who bears the costs and how communities shape their own futures.
-
Education
Make complex systems understandable, and make the tools for understanding them more widely accessible.
