Our Committees

Specialized committees providing focused oversight, foresight and guidance on the risks, impacts and responsibilities across Kuartal Group.

COMMITTEE 01

Alignment and Frontier Early Warning

Responsible for identifying, assessing, and anticipating risks arising from the development of advanced artificial intelligence and other frontier technologies. The committee monitors emerging technological capabilities, alignment challenges, unexpected system behaviors, and potentially systemic threats, advising leadership on precautionary measures, research priorities, and appropriate safeguards.

COMMITTEE 02

Economics and Societal Impacts

Examines the economic and social consequences of technological development, investment activities, and market transformation. The committee evaluates how Kuartal's initiatives influence employment, productivity, inequality, economic opportunity, market competition, and social welfare, helping ensure that innovation generates broadly shared benefits.

COMMITTEE 03

Environmental and Climate Risk Mitigation

Oversees the identification, assessment, and reduction of environmental and climate-related risks across Kuartal's operations, infrastructure, investments, and partnerships. Its responsibilities include monitoring energy consumption, emissions, biodiversity impacts, resource efficiency, climate adaptation, and environmental sustainability.

COMMITTEE 04

Data Privacy and Digital Safety

Safeguards personal information, digital rights, and user safety across Kuartal's technology ecosystem. The committee develops and reviews policies concerning data protection, responsible data usage, consent, digital safety, AI-mediated interactions, and the prevention of surveillance abuse or misuse of sensitive information.

COMMITTEE 05

Information Integrity and Media Responsibility

Oversees the integrity, reliability, and responsible distribution of information across Kuartal's media, communication, and AI-enabled platforms. Its responsibilities include mitigating misinformation, manipulated media, deceptive AI-generated content, and information abuse while protecting freedom of expression, editorial independence, intellectual property, and legitimate public discourse.
